Over a pair of limited pair of Nike Kobe AD’s, we used Dwight’s vocal battle for equality as inspiration. The outcome – a whole new comic book character called Super Dwight.
Wearing a yellow suit and purple cape, ‘Super Dwight’ is fighting against the inhumanity, segregation, brutality and – the evil in the society.
In that manner, the design is imagined as continuum – starting with realistically painted ‘Super Dwight’ on one, while his cape is waving over the other shoe.
Last but definitely not least, the background introduces DH logo texture while the details are the LA Lakers heavy, with purp and yellow swag on em.
