Our familiar mismatching concept is recognisable in Nantes’ own Eduardo Gurbindo’ World Championship Mizuno’s. Shading in opposite directions, they both represent España’ and Navarra’ colours. The texture is inspired by one of our all-time best representations of Spain – the bull-fighting and the Matadors themselves. Symbolising power and winners’ attitude, we went for in-colour bull texture on the base colours, while breaking the black mid-sole with some bull-portrait silhouettes. The details – ‘VAMOS’ with an ‘O’ replaced by a matador, and ‘GUR3INSSON’ – a merge between Eduardo’s nickname and number.
