When you mention Like Mike, you first think of Tomorrowland butterfly together with his hyping, while 100k united people spread love and cherish life. Amazing. That’s why the design is called ‘Vlinder’ – transl. Butterfly on Dutch.
The inspiration for Michael’s ‘Deerupts’ is find on Rhodos. On this beautiful island, there is a place called ‘Valley of Butterflies’ – a place where thousands and thousands of this beautiful creatures go to finish their life. On other side, Mike’s music make people cherish and enjoy life. His music make them wanna live forever.
The black/grey/gold broken texture, is completed with handmade inox 3d butterflies, taken from their latest Tomorrowland EP, on the laces. Final touch – his portrait on one, and DVLM logo on other. All done by hand, by using liquid gold.
And of course, they are asymmetric.
One black. One grey.
Because now, he is in the S. Family.
