“The R9S. – reimagined!”
Inspired by the greatest football boots in history – the Mercurial R9’s.
We heard those were BWBootsUK first pair the lads sold, so we secretly went to work…
Over a Nike AF1L OG white pair, we went for our interpretation of the original R9 model sillo.
To make the process an even bigger challenge – no airbrush nor stencils were used throughout the process. Meaning, the whole design is executed with paintbrushes only.
To sauce them even more – the whole shoes are covered with hand-melted liquid silver, as prepared in our S.tudios.
A game changer, just as R9 were back in the 90s.
